ACTFL's Lead with Languages Campaign
*Collaboration with Lee Cooke (https://jlccookelee.blogspot.com/) and Gabby Laventure (https://laventuregabbyjlc.blogspot.com/) Reflection: Working on this project with Lee and Gabby was not only interesting as an exercise in collaboration, but also very eye opening to the idea of learning languages and the impact it can have on individuals. Earlier this year, I had a similar project for my college's Speech class, where I was required to do research on this very topic so I was familiar with the idea of anyone and everyone benefiting from becoming bilingual, but seeing how it can affect artists specifically and getting their take on the matter really helped be think about the tactile benefits and emphasis in collaboration between people who speak different languages and have different cultural backgrounds.
