Email Writing: Confirming Information for a Party

Reflections:

Japanese and English are surprisingly similar in sentence structure when it comes to emails, and I'd say that they are more alike in general than I thought they'd be. When I was first starting to learn the language, I kept thinking too much into the placement of the Kanji and the way everything fit together, and I 've found that when I get too in my head, it's harder to understand. I also still find trouble conjugating verbs and expanding sentences, but I feel I am getting better the more I write. I do think the more I get into the language, the more I'm going to enjoy the straightforwardness of the verb structures.

Besides the verb structures being different, I believe that the other components of the sentences are really close to each other. Sadly, it is hard for me to articulate the differences, because I couldn't even properly pick a part the structure of an English email. The use of particles seems much heavier in Japanese, but the actual structure of the email itself (salutation, introduction, body, etc.) is pretty identical to how I write emails in English. 

I think if I was a newer learner it would have shocked me, but at this point I am starting to realize just how similar they are.
